The JNT BESTIM plenary session was held on May 23 and 24 in Angers. It brought together around sixty participants from all regions, including researchers, agricultural development stakeholders (ITA, associations, etc.), teachers (high schools and universities), some coming for the first time, others being more accustomed to the JNT plenary sessions.

This plenary session provided an opportunity to take stock of the progress of the members’ main works, the results of some ongoing projects (Vitae, Sucseed, CapZeroPhyto) and the “Grand Défi Biocontrol et Biostimulation”. It was also an opportunity to discover the ENVIE network as well as local partners (Syndev company, Vegepolys Valley). It also provided an opportunity to visit the IRHS Angevine facilities.

The JNT has also set itself objectives for the next 2 years:

  • complete the deliverables of the various working groups
  • publish a collective book
  • organize a conference in partnership with BioV from September 23 to 26, 2025 in Perpignan.

Thank you to the Angevine teams for welcoming us so well over these 2 days, and thank you to all the participants for making these plenary sessions dynamic and rich!
